How to Download NTA JEE Main 2026 (Session-I) Admit Card?
Step 1: Visit Official Website
Open your web browser and go to the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Find Admit Card Link
On the homepage, look for the link that says “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card” or “Download Hall Ticket” (link will be activated soon).
Step 3: Enter Login Details
You will need to provide:
- Application Number
- Date of Birth or Password
- Security Code/Captcha (if required)
Step 4: Download and Verify
Click on the “Submit” button. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Carefully verify all details including:
- Your name, photograph, and signature
- Exam centre address
- Exam date, shift, and reporting time
- Subject/paper details
Step 5: Save and Print
Download the admit card as PDF and take 2-3 colour printouts. Keep them safely for exam day.

JEE Main 2025 Session-1 January 2026, Apply Online Qualification
- For B.E / B.Tech : 12th Passed with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects with along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subjects.
- For B.Arch : 12th Passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
- For B.Planning : 12th Class Passed with Mathematics.
List of Qualifying Examinations (QE)
- The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
- Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country is recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

- Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
- Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
- Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only.

JEE Main 2025 Session-1 January 2026, Apply Online Exam Pattern
Paper1: B.E./ B. Tech. in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode:

Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) andSection B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. Therewill be negative marking for incorrect answer in Section A and Section B. For each questionin Section B, a candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse andthe on- screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For SectionB, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.
Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in CBT mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in Pen and Paper Based (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
