IIM CAT Admission Form 2024 (Common Admission Test) Score
- Candidate’s CAT 2024 scorecards will be made accessible on the CAT website.
- Candidates may also be intimated individually by SMS.
- The CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January, 2025.
- The CAT 2024 score is valid only till December 31, 2025 and will accordingly be accessible on the website.
- Thereafter, no queries related to the issuance of CAT 2024 scorecards will be entertained.
Test Centres for CAT 2024
- CAT will be conducted in centres spread across around 155 test cities.
- Test cities will be mentioned in the CAT website and the name of the test centre will be indicated in the Admit Card.
- IIMs reserve the right to add/remove, change or cancel any test centre / city and/or change the test time and date at their discretion.
IIM CAT Admission Form 2024 (Common Admission Test) Admission Process
- Please note that each IIM is independent to mandate their own eligibility criteria (including academic cut offs and relative weights) and follow different selection processes.
- Performance in the CAT 2024 examination is an important component for consideration in the selection process.
- IIMs may also use the previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short-listing of candidates at various stages of the selection process.

IIM CAT Admission Form 2024 (Common Admission Test) Results and Shortlisting
- Information related to the CAT 2024 results will be tentatively available starting from the second week of January 2025 on this website.
- The list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs.
- Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly.
- The criteria for shortlisting vary across IIMs.
- Please visit the admission websites of the respective IIMs for further information.
Normalization of CAT Scores in 2024
- CAT 2024 shall be conducted in three sessions. Three different Test Forms shall be administered in three Test Sessions.
- In order to ensure fairness and equity in comparison of performances of candidates across different test sessions, the scores of candidates shall be subjected to a process of Normalisation.
- The Normalisation process shall adjust for location and scale differences of score distributions across different forms.
- After normalisation across different forms, the scores shall be further normalised across different sections.
- The Scaled Scores obtained by this process shall be converted into percentiles for purposes of shortlisting.
- For reporting purposes, Scaled Scores for each section (Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Section III: Quantitative Ability (QA)) and Total along with the Percentiles shall be published.
How to Fill IIM CAT Admission Form 2024 (Common Admission Test)?
- The application for online registration will be hosted on the IBPS website from 01 Aug 2024.
- Applications will be received online only.
- Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
- E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
- The last date for submitting online application is 13 Sept. 2024.
