BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
SI (Master):
- 10+2 or Its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
- 2nd Class Master Certificate issued by Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority / Mercantile Marine Department.
SI (Engine Driver):
- 10+2 or Its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
- 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate Issued by Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority / Mercantile Marine Department.
HC (Master):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
- Possessing 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
HC (Engine Driver):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
- Possessing 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
HC (Workshop):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
- Industrial Training Instituted Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpentry & Plumbing for the post of HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine), HC (Workshop) Electrician, HC (Workshop) AC Technician, HC (Workshop) Electronics, HC (Workshop) Machinist, HC (Workshop) Carpenter and HC (Workshop) Plumber from a recognized Institution Respectively.
Constable (Crew):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
- One Year Experience in Operation of Boat below 265 HP.
- Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance.
