Air Force AFCAT 02/2024 Selection Process
- The Online examination will consist of objective-type questions and will be in English only.
- Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
- One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The subjects, time allowed and maximum marks allotted for the AFCAT exam will be as follows:

English:
- Comprehension, Detect Errors in Sentences, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct words, Synonym/ Antonym, Cloze Test or Fill in the Gaps in a paragraph, Idioms, and Phrases, Analogy, Sentence Rearranging, Substitution in a Sentence/ One Word Substitution.
General Awareness:
- History, Geography, Sports, National & International Organisations, Art & Culture, Personalities, Environment & Ecology, Indian Polity, Economy, Basic Science Based Knowledge, Science & Technology, Current Affairs (National & International), and Defence.
Numerical Ability:
- Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average/ Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Simple and Compound Interest, Time & Distance and Races (Trains/ Boats & Streams), Area and Perimeter, Probability, Number System & Number Series, Mixture & Allegation Rules, Clocks.

How to Apply for AFCAT 02/2024 Online Form?
- The application for online registration will be hosted on the Air Force website from 30 May 2024.
- Applications will be received online only.
- Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
- The E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
- The last date for submitting an online application is 28 Jun 2024.
